During my study Master Plant Biotechnology, I joined Christa’s group as a MSc Thesis student working on the role of several RLKs in response to salt in Arabidopsis. For my PhD, I worked at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Wageningen, where I investigated the molecular role of a key transcription factor in barley plant architecture. Now I returned to the Plant Physiology lab as a post-doc to use my expertise in cereals and molecular biology to investigate the rice response to shading and salt.
