The WUR delegation of the Roots in Salt group has quickly grown at the start of 2018. We are very happy to welcome three new faces to our group:

Eva van Zelm. PhD student on the topic “Regulation of potassium channels during salt stress” Funded by the ERC Consolidator project Sense2SurviveSalt.
Jasper Lamers. PhD student on the topic “Identification and biochemical characterization of Na+ sensing mechanisms in plants”. Funded by the ERC Consolidator project Sense2SurviveSalt.
Hongfei Li. PhD student on the topic “Learning from the halophyte S. parvula how to survive salt”. Funded by a Nuffic Sino-Dutch scholarship (CSC).
