This spring/summer we welcomed another three new colleagues. Silvia has joined us as a new PhD candidate working on salt resilience in lettuce as part of the Dutch LettuceKnow consortium. Pinelopi is strengthening our VICI team as a research technician to support phenotyping and molecular research efforts. Shu-Hua Hsu worked with us briefly as a post-doc on a new project connected to the MiCrop consortium. She helped kickstart a new project on how salinity stress tolerance of rice is influenced by the interaction with light and soil-derived signals.
