Just out in Plant Physiology: a new paper from our group, by previous PhD student (currently post-doc in the Brady lab, UC-Davis) Dorota Kawa et al. During salt stress, SnRK2 protein kinases interact with the mRNA decapping machinery to regulate RNA stability. Now we show how this mechanism could be involved in altering root architecture during salt stress.
